KATHY CAMPBELL
Kathy has been one of only eight women to ever serve on the Lancaster County Board. She is a voice of wisdom mentoring women in politics. She exhibits a strong steadfast commitment to women’s rights whose life work has reflected her dedication to the struggle for equality. Kathy resides in Lincoln with her husband, Richard and children, Andrew and Caroline.

SISTER NORITA COONEY
Sister Norita, a native of Grand Island, has lived in Nebraska all her life with the exception of the time she spent in graduate school. 1986 marked the beginning of a new adventure for Sister Norita as she moved in to the field of health care ministry in Omaha. Sister Norita is involved with numerous community health initiatives, UIN 2001 she was recognized by the Nebraska Hospital Association with the Excellence in Service Award for her “lifelong commitment in improving health care in Nebraska”.

JOAN CROMER
Soroptomists are Joan’s passion. The importance of international involvement in a unified effort to bring women everywhere an optimal quality of life is critical to Joan, who truly believes in helping individuals, especially women, reach their highest potential. Joan has often been heard stating “Service is the price we pay for the space we occupy here on earth and that service is a gift to be shared that return tenfold”. Joan and her husband of 52 years, John, live in Gering and are the proud parents of children: Bradley, Greg and Karen along with their spouses and eight grandchildren.

KATHY MOORE
Kathy is the founder and director of Voices for Children. This is an organization founded in 1987 to study and publicize children’s needs, reform services and at risk youth. Recognized as a life long advocate for families and women, she is personified in her work at Voices for Children. Born and raised in Nebraska, Kathy resided in Omaha with her husband, Craig. They have two children, Kristen and Brian.
