Anne Hobbs was selected as the executive director of the Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission on June 1, 2005. As a Lincoln attorney specializing in inequality within the juvenile justice system, she has consulted on equality and juvenile justice topics for both the county as well as the state.
Ms. Hobbs’ extensive range of knowledge and expertise spans 15 years and two continents. She has worked with the disadvantaged and homeless in Mexico, Harlem, San Francisco and Alaska.
Ms. Hobbs served as the Director of Lancaster County’s Juvenile Diversion Program from 1997 to 2001 and has spent the past five years serving as the Disproportionate Minority Youth Confinement Coordinator for the State of Nebraska, as well as the Lancaster County Juvenile Justice Coordinator. |
